The Gamma Omicron Boule’ has partnered with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay and has adopted the Wilbert Davis Boys and Girls Club of East Tampa. This mentoring partnership provides the opportunity for Archons to mentor a designated group of young men. The goal of the mentoring program is to help the mentees develop skills that will prepare them for life after high school and, optimally, college. Mentoring sessions focus on STEM activities, leadership, team work and financial literacy. Archons encourage these young men to be positive thinkers, give back to their community, and dream big. The time commitment from Archons mentors is one hour weekly. As a component of the mentoring program, the young men will participate in community service projects with the member Boule’ and shadow member Archons in their professions. Another goal of the mentoring program is for these young men to become candidates for the Gamma Omicron Boule’ Memorial Scholarship.
